A BIT ABOUT US
Who We Are
DUT is a non for profit, 501(c)3 local community theater company, primarily focusing on Broadway Musicals, using mostly local talent.
DUT was formed in 2010 by brothers Steve and Tim Revis.
DUT's first production was Jesus Christ Superstar which hit the stage in March of 2011, to a packed house at the historic Lincoln Square Theater, reviews were outstanding! DUT's second production, in July 2011 was Miss Saigon, the tale of a tragic love story based during the Veitnam War. In 2013 DUT performed the productions of You're A Good Man Charlie Brown and Forever Plaid at the historic Decatur Masonic Temple Auditorium. The Decatur Civic Center is now our home for awesome musical theater - featuring shows West Side Story, White Christmas, Forever Plaid, The Marvelous Wonderettes, Jekyll & Hyde, My Fair Lady, Godspell, Into the Woods, All Shook Up, Little Shop of Horrors, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee & Jesus Christ Superstar (a 10th Anniversary Celebration).
The board is continuously looking for for shows to bring to Decatur!
